Honeypot

Honeypot is a charity that works to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young carers by providing respite breaks and on-going outreach support. The charity supports around 1000 children every year, all aged between 5 – 12 years.

The programme of long-term support that Honeypot provides gives young people a break from the demanding conditions at home – where some of them are carers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – and provides a nurturing environment in which they can make new friends, develop their full potential and just be children for a few days.

Here at CVS we take part in a number of activities over the year to support the charity, including fundraising, events and volunteering projects to help maintain the charity's premises and gardens.

Working Families

Working Families is a leading work-life balance organisation who helps working parents, carers and employers find a better balance between their responsibilities at home and at work.

CVS has entered into a partnership with Working Families to work together on a series of initiatives, including supporting their 'Top Employers for Working Families Benchmark and Awards'.

Families are at the heart of what we do at CVS and we're really proud to be supporting Working Families because we have a common goal; to promote a family friendly workplace culture to help create a positive relationship between work and home life.
