Childcare Vouchers are a guaranteed form of payment to carers.
Parents can save money on all types of registered childcare for children up to 16** years old.
Once a parent's employer is registered with us, eligible working parents can exchange up to £243 per month (£55 per week) of their gross salary for Childcare Vouchers. The exchanged part of the salary is exempt from tax and National Insurance contributions. This allows parents to make savings of up to £1,196* per parent, per year on their childcare costs.
Both working parents can claim Childcare Vouchers whether they work for the same or different employers. Provided the employer offers a Childcare Voucher scheme, both parents could double their savings to £2,392* per year. Basic and higher rate tax payers can both benefit from the scheme.
Childcare Vouchers are National Insurance exempt for the parent's employer. They too can save for each employee that joins the scheme via reduced National Insurance contributions.
Paying you is simple with e-Vouchers
The easiest way for a parent to pay you is with e-Vouchers. The parent simply authorises payment to you via their online account and Computershare Voucher Services transfers the payment into your account by BACs. To find out the other ways a parent can pay you, click here.
